When did you first start training at NNCF and how many days a week do you train?
My training at NNCF started a little over 3 almost 4 years ago. My brother wouldn’t stop bugging me about trying NNCF, so I finally decided to see what all the talk was about. I train 4-5 times a week.
Tell us about your sports/fitness background:
I grew up in California swimming and playing water polo. But when we moved here I swam and played softball.
What was your first CrossFit workout and how did it go?
My first Crossfit workout was Karen (150 Wall Balls, For Time)! I honestly couldn’t tell you how it went I was so tired afterward.
DT for sure has to be my favorite workout! Put Hang Cleans in a workout, and I’m all for it.
5 Rounds: 12 Deadlift – 9 Hang Power Clean – 6 Push Jerk
Least Favorite Workout:
Least Favorite workout had to be anything associated with the Assualt Bike.
Why do you love North Naples CrossFit?
What is there not to love about NNCF? The thing about NNCF is that you walk into such a warm environment where everyone knows everyone, and if they don’t they introduce themselves. You always feel welcome no matter what time of day. The coaches are awesome and always there. They strive to make all of us better, even when we didn’t think we could do it. I never leave the gym unhappy. Even if it’s a bad workout, I always leave with a smile on my face.
Favorite NNCF moment?
Favorite moment. There are so many that I can think of. First Favorite moment has to be the Tequila Squats, and us competing at Thunder Dome. Second when I cleaned 165lbs.
